Meet at the intersection of County Highway S-2 and the first dirt road to the west, 1/2 mile south of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park® boundary sign just beyond Shelter Valley. Approximate drive time is 45 minutes from the ABDSP Visitor Center. Four-wheel drive not required. Hike is limited to 15 people. Please sign up at the Visitor Center.
