2025 Dockwalker Trainings

Become a 2025 Partner Dockwalker by taking one of our trainings!

In 2025 we are offering a hybrid model combining virtual and some in-person Dockwalker trainings. During the virtual trainings (through the Zoom video conferencing system) the instructor will be live and participants will be able to ask questions! A reminder to current Dockwalkers if you were trained 3 years ago it is time to get recertified. Please register for one of the following trainings:

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
While we offer virtual trainings, it is ideal for your to register based on where you're located as the training content is designed around these two regions.

Saturday, March 1, 2025 ...................10 am to 12:45 pm – Virtual Training
Saturday, March 22 , 2025 ................10 am to 12:45 pm – Virtual Training
Thursday, April 10, 2025 ..................  9 am to 11:45 am – Virtual Training
Saturday, April 19, 2025 .................. 10 am to 12:45 pm – In person-Training - Oakland Yacht Club 1101 Pacific Marina, Alameda, CA 94501 (Regatta Room)
Saturday, May 10, 2025 ................... 10 am to 12:45 pm  – Virtual Training

Refresher Trainings
If you have been trained in the last three years, you have the option to register for a refresher training:

Saturday, April 26, 2025 - 10 am to 11:30 am – Virtual Training 
Thursday, May 1, 2025 - 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm – Virtual Training

How to Register 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Please select a training date and California region above, click in the training date, you will be directed to the registration site.  Please provide the required registration information, then  you will receive a registration email. Few days before the training date we will be sending you the disclaimer you need to complete and send back via email and an email reminder with the training files.  If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact Vivian Matuk at vmatuk@coastal.ca.gov or (916) 764-0989.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE VIRTUAL TRAININGS

A computer with internet access and a microphone or a telephone to call in. Please note you do not need a Zoom account or to download the system to attend a Zoom video conference meeting; once registered, you will receive a link to join the meeting along with instructions to join and a few additional files.
