2020-2022 Triennial Program Report

The California Boating and Waterways Commission (Commission) is required to prepare and submit a triennial program report to the Governor, the Assembly Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife, the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water, the Senate Committee on Appropriations, and the Assembly Committee on Appropriations. As detailed in Harbors and Navigation Code (HNC) Section 82.3(g)(1), this report addresses the status of any regulations adopted or being considered by the Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW), and any loan or grant that has been or is being considered for a determination of eligibility.

The reporting period of this document is January 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022. Some programs are on a state fiscal cycle, some are on a federal fiscal cycle and some are on a calendar year cycle. The data for each are collected accordingly. Information in each subsequent report will begin where the previous report ended to prevent either gaps or duplication.
