NOTICE OF FLASHBOARDS INSTALLATION/BOATLOCK OPERATION AT SUISUN MARSH SALINITY CONTROL STRUCTURE
The California Department of Water Resources advises that it will install the flashboards across the Maintenance Channel and begin Boat Lock operations at the Suisun Marsh Salinity Control Structure, located 2.2 nautical miles from the easterly end of Montezuma Slough at coordinates, 38°05’36”N 121°53’07”W on September 27, 2016.
Beginning that day until May 31, 2017, Mariners are advised to use the boat lock on the west side of the slough. The boat lock will be open to boat traffic between the hours of 0700 hours and 1700 hours, unless informed otherwise. Signs and lights will be posted to warn vessels to avoid the use of the maintenance channel on the east side of the facility.

NOTICE OF LAUNCH RAMP TEMPORARY CLOSURES AT
SAN DIEGO SHELTER ISLAND BOAT LAUNCH FACILITY
The Port of San Diego advises that due to construction, only one lane of the ten-lane boat ramp will remain open for boaters from June through August 2017. Long wait times are anticipated. Boaters are strongly encouraged to utilize alternate launch ramps during construction.
Parking and Traffic: Approximately 25 percent of the available parking in the lower parking lot (Lot 10) adjacent to the launch ramp will be closed to allow for staging construction equipment.
There will be no lane closures on Shelter Island Drive.

The California Department of Water Resources advises that it will remove the flashboards and suspend boat lock operations at the Suisun Marsh salinity control structure, located 2.2 nautical miles from the easterly end of Montezuma Slough at coordinates, 38°05’36”N 121°53’07”W, on May 11, 2016.
After May 11th mariners are advised to use the Maintenance Channel on the east side of the slough. The boat lock will be closed to boat traffic. Signs and lights will be posted to warn vessels to avoid the boat lock.

NOTICE OF SUISUN BAY MONTEZUMA SLOUGH CONSTRUCTION
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) will be conducting dredging and construction in Montezuma Slough at the Roaring River Intake from July 5 through August 11. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The construction site located at coordinates 38°05'36"N, 121°53'07"W, will have barges, tug boats, crane, divers, and fish block net in and around the waterway. Signage and boat traffic control will be present during the construction period.
For safety reasons, boaters are requested to use the alternative route indicated by the green line on the map below instead of passing through the project area during the working hours stated above. Outside of these hours, boaters will be able to pass through the area. Please pay careful attention to posted warning and construction signage in the area.

Montezuma Slough Suspension of Boat Lock Operations
The California Department of Water Resources advises that it will remove the flashboards and suspend boat lock operations at the Suisun Marsh salinity control structure, located 2.2 nautical miles from the easterly end of Montezuma Slough at coordinates, 38°05'36"N 121°53'07"W, between May 24 and May 26, 2016.
After May 26th mariners are advised to use the Maintenance Channel on the east side of the slough. The boat lock will be closed to boat traffic. Signs and lights will be posted to warn vessels to avoid the boat lock.
